This marks the completion of my first successful project with the assistance of my knitting machine, the LK150.
An interesting aspect of this machine is its ability to replicate hand-knitted stitches accurately. This allows you to seamlessly transition between using the machine and traditional knitting needles.
The hems, lace section, and sleeves were crafted by hand, while the monotonous stockinette part only took about thirty minutes with the knitting machine.
Isn’t that amazing?
However, one downside is having to work with panels, as I prefer the three-dimensional aspect of circular needles.
I utilized a 100% cotton yarn from Lollocrea that is no longer in production. Typically, cotton yarn is heavy and lacks stretch, but this particular yarn is unplied, featuring a small chain construction that gives it a light, airy, and elastic quality.
